"An exceptional room, stunningly beautiful, well furnished and very comfortable. The host met us on arrival and explained everything. We didn’t want leave . It’s a nice walk to the Centre or there is a bus if preferred. We would have loved to use the bar and restaurant but unfortunately as a mid week stay these were not open"

"Property is in great location 10-15 walk from main areas on a canal. It's a great walk into town to see some neighborhoods you otherwise wouldn't. The breakfast was great, staff very helpful and attentive. Room was by far the largest we had on entire Belgian/Netherlands trip. Highly recommend this property."

Frankly it is just not the same standard. Breakfast is always fabulous (the couple have been there for many years,and worked for the original owners,as above). We have never stayed in the Guest house,only The Hotel.So we decided to try The adjoining guest house. Frankly the hallway is quite shabby,and carpet needs a good...

Convenient walk to and from the train station, allowing for easy day trips to other cities. We very much enjoyed our stay."
