"The hotel was nice, but definitely needs some “love.” The outside is in desperate need of paint, some of the outlets in our room were very loose and the menu is just so-so at the restaurant. The woman running the restaurant was AMAZING and so kind. "

"Very Disappointing Stay at Laurel Lake Placid My stay at Laurel Lake Placid was extremely disappointing and far below expectations. The breakfast was honestly one of the worst hotel breakfasts I’ve experienced — very limited options, poorly presented, and felt more like an afterthought than an actual service for guests. There was barely any variety, and the quality did not match what you would expect from a hotel in Lake Placid. The room itself was equally frustrating. It was almost empty, with minimal furniture and barely any amenities provided. It felt unfinished and uncomfortable rather than cozy or welcoming. Basic essentials that most hotels normally provide were missing, making the stay inconvenient and not worth the price at all. Overall, the hotel lacks attention to guest comfort, proper amenities, and quality service. I would not recommend staying here unless major improvements are made. "

"The laundry was free and right across the hall from our unit. The units were spacious and renovated. The location was perfect! We would definitely stay here again."

"Room was very clean. Overall cleanliness wasn’t too great. Building needs some TLC. Spa was a mess. Water level was incredibly low, and the jets were spraying everywhere. Pool didn’t look too great. It’s fine for a quick budget trip. "
