"Do NOT listen to the people who have given this Hotel 1 or 2 stars, we have just come back from a four night stay and I have to say we had a fantastic holiday.
The hotel is centrally located minutes walk away from the centre, our room was huge, extra bedroom( ok no window ) but we didn’t even need to use it as we had two double beds in the main room plus a lovely seating area.
Teas and coffee, hairdryer, ironing board, shampoo etc all provided. As for people complaining about the rooms not being cleaned everyday, why would you want them? don’t be so messy. If you need anything clean towels etc just ask at reception. Again people commenting about no staff members around, there was somebody manning the fort every time we were in the lobby. They helped organise a taxi for our journey back to the airport and provided a breakfast to take with us as we had an early flight,
Sauna and gym were fab, lovely bonus.
Food, well we didn’t get to have the Fika in the afternoon as we were out all day but breakfast was superb, so much choice and always hot and tasty, the evening meal, granted there was only one choice of the day but you also had soup, pasta, salad and the bread oh my god amazing! I’ve put in about a stone and my son who is a fussy eater he loved the choices and ate well.
Honestly as a family we can’t rate this hotel enough, staff were lovely, food was lovely, hotel was lovely, location great. We highly recommend it if you are looking for a stay in beautiful Bergen ❤️"
