I absolutely loved this hotel. It is in a great location for getting to all of the sites and has plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. However the food in the Hotel restaurant was good (we did not have breakfast) but the atmosphere in there and the bar of an evening were fantastic. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Centrally located, walking distance from many of the main tourist sights. So many good food options nearby too. Definitely recommend for a lovely stay.

Stayed in balcony suite. Gorgeous! Excellent staff (housekeeping could improve with replenishing basics). Pool and sauna a fabulous element of the stay. Convenient location. Lovely interiors. Breakfast good. Comfy bed and pillow choice. Only wish they offered food beyond breakfast and coffee machine throught the day in the lobby/table areas. Overall had a great stay. Highly recommend.

Its a very nicely run hotel.We enjoyed our stay alot the staff made it feel special and nothing seemed to much trouble.

We had a 2 night pre Xmas stay and what a hotel we chose. Perfect central location for everything. Shopping, markets and our river cruse. Everything was within a 10 min walk. Hotel fantastic. Breakfasts superb and wonderful staff and service. Faultless.

Great hotel in great location with great staff. Used as a base for Christmas Markets and it was perfect. Loved every minute of our 3 night stay - but it is quite expensive !

The check in online process was really easy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. This hotel is perfectly positioned to walk and explore Budapest, with endless lovely pubs and restaurants nearby.

We had a lovely stay at Das Tigra, conveniently located to city centre . The breakfast was excellent .The only unfortunate thing was the Chambermaid staff did not pay attention to detail, eg requested non feather bedding but feather pillows were on the bed, Tea and hair products were not replaced daily.The cleaning of the bathroom was not up to standard. However the front of house staff were very attentive and remedied the issues . I would return if these issues are addressed.

The Hotel is located in a quiet inner lane. However, a 200 metre walk beings us to the Suburban Metro Station and the main roads of the city. There is a departmental store and a few restaurants as well in the vicinity of the hotel. It is quite conveniently located for covering some of the tourist parts of the city on foot, though it's a long walk. Anyway, the beauty of Budapest lies in walking and using its tram services. My wife and I have just returned from a 4 day/3 night stay at the Oktogon Haggenmacher to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First of all the hotel is visually stunning, the rooms are clean and well appointed too. We opted for a top floor double superior room with breakfast included. Lovely clean hotel with a delightful aroma on entry and helpful, Friendly Staff. Breakfast was excellent and offered a real variety. Main shops a 20 minute walk away.

Lovely hotel, quite old-fashioned in operation (have to hand key in every time you go out), but lovely staff, great location, and the superior double was a huge room with separate clothing store/wardrobe room, big bathroom, comfy sofa, large bed. If I visit Vienna again, would happily stay here again.
