"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel building was modern and clean and the staff were very helpful when we needed them. The room itself was quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. The AC in the room worked very well and we all got a good nights sleep. One feature that was a little annoying was the lack of a towel hook in the toilet meaning that one had to go to another room to dry one’s hands. The hotel location was perfect. It was walking distance to everything we needed and there are lots of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. We would definitely stay at this hotel again!"

"Right next to the train station. My room has a perfect view of the mountain and the hotel also has sauna and a small gym on 2nd floor. Highly recommend and definitely would come back if I go to Salzburg next time "

"Overall, it is a good hotel on all fronts except for two items. The chrome cast did not work on my TV. When i asked the reception, they told me that some rooms have had this problems for many months. Not a good answer. In addition, the channel selection is useless. No movie channels nor any real sports channels. "

"Convenient location, but lacking in cleanliness and service. Le Méridien is close to major museums and Karlsplatz station, making it very convenient for getting around. However, the hotel feels outdated, with dim hallways and aging infrastructure. Cleanliness was inconsistent. I was given a bathrobe with stains on it and had to ask for a replacement. The room also had issues with old wiring that made clicking noises, which I got around by avoiding certain light switches. The shower pipes also made a constant loud, almost drilling sound. When I asked staff for help, they not only dismissed the noise levels by saying it wasn't that bad, but told me there was nothing they could do until the next morning. I eventually fixed it myself by adjusting the shower knobs, but I would have expected the housekeeping staff to know that and be more helpful. The hotel also seemed overbooked and a bit noisy at times. Overall, a convenient location but not up to expectations for comfort or service."
