"The apartment works for a quick stay. It is not luxurious and it has bare minimum toiletries. A 15min drive from the airport with a restaurant abd grocery store within a 2 min walk. I did not like that if you stay on the ground floor your access is from the side door that goes to the street and if you book on a high floor with 2 rooms, some do not have elevator access. "This was a great place to stop overnight before our flight from Athens to the US. The owner was very flexible with our check-in time, he arranged for food to be delivered from a local restaurant and even arranged our taxi at 4:00 a.m. to the airport. The 4:00 a.m. taxi was a little pricey considering the hour of day so it was €40 for a 10-minute ride, but it was still a convenient stay and I would recommend it."

"Of course Sofitel at the Athens Airport is perfect for those who fly out early in morning or arrive late on a flight, that is a given. But the room felt dirty, the bed liner was filthy and the rug smelled. The mirror in the bathroom was leaning as if it was broken and the coffee machine was not cleaned. For how much You pay, I feel it is not worth it. I think with all the money they make there and obviously have the market there, the hotel needs to be cleaned and updated!! I probably won't stay...
