We arrived right at the posted check in time and there was no one at reception and no one answered the phone number that was posted on the door. After about an hour, we almost gave up and found somewhere else to stay, but finally found another phone number on the website and got through to someone who then came and checked us in. I think we were supposed to let them know...
"Le Moulin Simonis is a lovely hotel in a beautiful, quiet location. The staff are friendly, however the facilities are not as advertised. The restaurant was closed on the night we stayed and the bar & reception closed early evening. This wouldn’t have been an issue, had the listing not advertised these facilities. This is less a hotel, more a guest house / b&b."

On the other hand, our room and bath was very small and the only toiletries were a small bit of body lotion and a little piece of hand soap. We did enjoy our stay but expected more.
