"Enjoyed our stay at Sugar Boat. Lovely loft room and a tasty breakfast. Relaxed team looked after us."

"Enjoyed having breakfast & being able to look out to the shoreline. Plus, easy access to the local area. Ray & Jackie are very welcoming hosts!"

"Room was very clean and spacious Bed and pillows were very comfortable Settee also in room so could sit comfortably Plenty of hot drink sachets Breakfast was unavailable during our stay so unable to comment- we were informed though Toilet cistern was slow fill and quite noisy Would stay again"

"Great place you don’t get to see the owners. The shower needs looking at as the usual hotel leaking to the head of shower minor issue to sort. I would recommend replacing the TVs in the rooms another small issue but modern TVs in hotel rooms is a game changer and very important. Parking for 5 cars safely anymore it needs to be shared parking with friends. "We picked this place because it had excellent ratings. My experience was: Very difficult to unload car on an incredibly tight road. I had a heated row with a local resident who was very aggressive. The parking which was at a public viewing point was up a steep hill about 400 meters away. The bathroom was not cleaned well with unpleasant marks in the toilet, dusty bin lids etc. cobwebs and dirt on window. House was run down and very outdated. Walk into town was about 12 minutes down steep...

"It’s a great place in a wonderful location."

"The big nitpick for is lack of parking. Unless you're strictly staying overnight and leaving first thing in the morning you have to pay. It's kind of cheap but it's the principle of already paying for a room."

"Trots rökfritt rum så luktade rummet och sängkläderna rök my ket rök. Det var rent i övrigt. Personalen trevlig."

"Clean, comfortable, and convenient. The room was small, but well organized and thoughtfully appointed. A great value, really."

"Hervorragende Unterkunft, überaus freundliche Gastgeber und ein leckeres Frühstück. Falls wir wieder einmal in der Gegend sind wissen wir nun wo übernachten :)"
