"We were met by our host at approximately 8 pm on the first night of our stay. We had provided an approximate time beforehand to help. We were then given the tour, which was extremely helpful. We loved the room - so clean and spacious with en-suite and the sea view was breathtaking. The new bath was very much welcomed, although we just used the superb walk-in shower provided during our stay. There were nice additional touches in the room, e.g. some whiskey to sample, tooth picks, cotton...

"Room was a bit dusty staff were friendly and helpful"

"Terrific staff. Very helpful. A lovely place to un wind, read a book by the fire and enjoy the view. Very relaxing stay. Thanks!"

"Really enjoyed our stay. The character in the bar/restaurant of this old ferry house building was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Lots of character, dining excellent, breakfast less so with limited range of non cooked foods."

"This place is absolutely not like the photos, this was hands down one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. -manager was kind -spiders everywhere -black mold in our room - our room didn’t have hot water -filthy property -deceiving photos - paper thin walls - breakfast was good -not vacuumed -dirty sheets - lights that did not work -dark creepy halls -broken emergency class with the door flapping back and forth all night that kept us up The reviews do not reflect the current state of this...

"Très belle chambre supérieure avec belle vue. Très confortable. Grand salon agréable et joli pour les clients. Seuls bémols (peu d’importance mais je mentionne quand même): le wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans la chambre et le savon de douche était démesurément parfumé. Sinon le reste était parfait!"

"Room clean but in need of a paint touch up and carpet cleaning. Lift broken on arrival day. Property can use a refreshing. Room view was as pictured on site. Bedding very comfortable. Suggest two luggage racks. Appears others have used and scratched the cocktail table. Breakfast was well done, dinner needs to be booked - do so before arrival if an early time is required. Would be nice to have tablecloths at dinner. Bar made a good cocktail. Great location."
