Don’t stay here! Horrible customer service. The people usually the culprit, not the resort.

No to match people, there was no car are somthing to bring are back, iT was clean but every where ther was ants , the service and food was good but not clean beach and match stone

Punta del sol is good for a day trip only; if you and your friends want to hang out by the beach, the resort is good for that. For overnight stay solo or with other people, i wouldn’t recommend it. The food was overpriced.

I won't go back to this resort

The rooms are small. One of the Taclobo rooms, the door lock wasn't working. The beach is very small. The restaurant food are way over priced. They will sneak a few charges here and there. No wifi on this resort and if you have your own wifi, the signal is very very poor.

The resort is calm and the staffs are friendly. I didn't know the wifi and hot shower are unavailable, otherwise good vacation place.

It was very good and comfortable!

It’s was mostly good, I was very comfortable in my hut just off of the beach with no air conditioner but a very nice fan. the men’s showers had a pool of water in it, and the goods were not at a fair price, there were stores just a short walk away where you could get a better price.

Terrible Stay- karaoke nightmare

Honestly I don’t know where to begin. We arrived at Punta del Sol and they didn’t have our reservation. Despite booking a room with two beds we were told our bungelow would only have one bed which they later added a cot too. The bungelow didn’t have a running toilet and we had to fill a bucket To flush toilet and take a shower. The second night they moved us to a better room with two beds and working toilet. The worst of all though was the non-stop karaoke singing from other guests. Literally from 5 am to 2 am they would be singing karaoke on maximum volume- it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. When I asked the front desk if they would have quiet hours they brushed it off. Would never stay here again. Beautiful island but choose your hotel wisely.

Requires patience

If you plan on becoming a guest of this hotel, you would need to be very patient. And if you don't have your own car, you'd better be ready to shell out some cash for the fare just to get to the hotel. When we arrived, the staff was very accommodating, however they did not volunteer information, unless asked. We planned to go on a night swim however, there was no light to guide us around the swimming area. Also, we went to their restaurant, a few minutes after closing time and they denied serving us anything. Good thing one of the staff took pity on us and gave us a cup noodle we could share. When morning came, serving the breakfast took almost an hour. As for the beach, it was good, but would have been greater if it was kept clean.

MANPOWER UPGRADE

It was raining and We arrived late at the Resort. The Lady at the reception didn't know what to do when i informed her that i booked my room online. She is aware about online bookings, but she didn't know how to confirm mine. So, she ended up copying all the details in the email i received that i showed her, which took us more than the time i should have spent there standing in front of her.

Stayed on a 2 pax room. Aircondition does not work well. Water clogs at the bathroom. Friendly staff though.

A nice hotel

It is a nice hotel and employees are very friendly no matter if you are a Chinese。 酒店很漂亮，员工很友好。没有传说中那些臆想出来的对中国人的敌视。

Poor value for much money

The beach stony, lamps and AC partly not working. The worst: shower and toilet flushing not working at all. (Too low water pressure) Restaurant OK. Great views of Davao and Mindanao.
