Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Kingwood/Houston
8/10 Good
"The rooms are only cleaned every three days, unless you specifically ask that they be cleaned more frequently. We weren’t aware of this until we found out that our room had not been cleaned the next day. When we inquired at the front desk, that’s when we found out about the three-day rule."
The Angler Hotel Livingston, an Ascend Collection Hotel
8/10 Good
"Staff was great. The cleanliness should have been better. We saw the same dead roach and trash on our hallway floor for three days straight. The bar and restuarant wasn't an amenity because it was closed and had been closed for months. The bar and restuarant was the only reason why we chose to stay there. It was still being advertised as an amenity when we booked. The overall condition of the hotel was well kept. We were allowed to sit and hangout on the patio and inside the bar/restuarant area. Again, the staff was great and super friendly."

"Liked nothing about the place, drove on to the property and there was no way I would stay there. I would not have felt safe staying there. The place just looked scary, the lady that I talked to couldn’t care less about having a conversation. Never stay there."

"The rooms are very nice, clean, exceptionally comfy beds and the staff is exceptional as well. Air conditioning was great and room cools off very quickly."
