"Our room had ants and we never got any soap for the bathroom but other than that it was a really nice stay in a great location"

"Sparse furnishings, thin walls, noisy arguments by neighbors, noxious cigarette smoke smell, hair on the bathroom sink, mold on the bathtub, rat traps in the hallways."

"The room smelled awful. It was musty/moldy. You could hear everything! People next door were talking at a normal volume and it was like they were the same room. Couldn’t even closed the drapes and I was in the first floor so people could see it. I didn’t sleep at all."

"My stay was okay for a quick overnight stay. It seems the property needs some TLC. I pulled up to the property not landscaped or mowed, people tailgating and sunbathing in the parking lot. My door was dented which didn't look so good. The room had a certain smell that was covered up with a citrus spray prior to my getting into the room. They did provide a refrigerator, water, snacks and coffee service set up in the room. The AC unit was loud going on and off all night. Not much you can do about...

"Needed a room overnight for an event in Plymouth. This hotel was easily located off the highway in an area with lots of shops and restaurants. Hotel was very clean and modern. Rooms were beautiful. Front desk staff very helpful. The fitness center was great .. open 24/7. The free breakfast was very good ! The pool was under construction but the weather was chilly!"

"The bedding was very uncomfortable the room had a damp musty smell I mentioned it but could not communicate with housekeeping. The rugs need replacement they smelled we will not be booking with Hampton Inn again"

"Breakfast was good. We appreciated a hot meal in the morning. The food at the bar needs to be improved. It was very expensive and the quality was low. Clam chowder was too thick and the cream separated from the soup so we returned it. Waiter was helpful and didn’t charge us for the soup. "

"I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!"

"The room was clean and very spacious. However, the hotel was extremely dated and in need of a great deal of repair. Carpeting on all the stairs was storn up and ragged along the edges. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was..... there. The coffee was some of the better hotel coffee in a lobby that I have ever had."

"Lobby and rooms were clean. Breakfast could have more no pork options and plain eggs. Front desk staff could be more friendly and not sarcastic because of the color of our skin. Also, there was no parking available the next day and I had to park in the handicap spot but let the front desk know."
