"This place was an absolute DUMP! The room was beyond filthy, the "on site" parking wasn't even enough for half of their guests, not to mention the staff taking up many of the available spots, the staff at the desk were rude, dismissive and flat out LIARS. I have video of the evening desk clerk showing and telling me it was ok to park in a specific place, then woke up to a note on my car threatening to tow it. When confronted, they denied it all. When told to watch the video, they just made excuses. Our room was NEVER cleaned. We had to beg for fresh towels, sheets and even toilet paper. There was hair in the shower, urine under the toilet, mold in the cabinets, and the floor was so dirty that our socks turned black. We had to wear flip flops in the shower just to keep from being disgusted. I WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS IF POSSIBLE. Getting help was impossible as the desk staff was always either sleeping in their car or taking photos on the beach deck. But never available to take care of a guest."

"The staff was very friendly. However, when you walk in the building the fragrance was overwhelming. Way to strong of a cleaner or air freshener. Then the smell in our room was awful. I cannot even pinpoint what it could have been, but it was not pleasant. The toilet did not stop running and the room needed a rug or something under the bed also. The metal bed frame on the vinyl floor was loud..every toss and turn the bed squeaked against the floor. Room was fine for a 2 night stay that would have us out of the room for the majority of the day."

"The most outstanding staff members. Each and every encounter with the team members was friendly, professional and helpful. That alone made my stay the best!"

"I had a pleasant stay at Nautilus Inn. The oceanfront view was beautiful and very scenic, even though I was on the second floor and would have preferred a higher one. The room was clean, everything worked well, and the easy beach access was definitely the highlight of my stay."

"Rooms are old with old furniture, there is evidence of dust and dirt in all the nooks and crannies. Especially in the bathroom, and there was construction going on all over property "

"I most disturbing part of my review is when I checked in and got my room and key card I proceeded to take my luggage up to the room and enter. It was late at night and once I entered there were no lights on to see very well. I pulled my luggage over to the kitchen side and proceeded to turn on the lights. Guess what - the room was occupied and I scared the daylights out of two poor unsuspecting people and myself. I quickly removed myself from the room and returned to the main desk to tell them what happened. There are many more poor issues to comment on but you get the picture with this place. "
