"This is a beautiful property with a unique vibe to it. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful. Rooms are very clean with lovely charm and beautiful bathrooms with a roomy shower. The beds are comfortable and even on a hot weekend in the summer, temperature was great and we like it cold! We travel extensively and also were in the bar business for years and the only downside to the weekend was the bar staff. At the lobby bar and the rooftop, the staff was quite off putting. We tried both twice to see if we had just caught them at a bad time, but the staff is rude and acts bothered to help customers at the most basic level. We were ignored three times when trying to get a seat or an order placed without so much as a “we will be right with you”. We were passed off twice with a “I’m no longer on the clock” by bartenders standing behind the bar, however they did nothing to let another bartender on the clock know we were ready for the check or needed a refill. After several attempts, we simply frequented other establishments which is unfortunate because the overall aesthetic of the hotel made us want to be there. If you stay here, enjoy your room and plan drinks elsewhere."
