Absolutely charming, nostalgic mom’n’pop hotel. Right in the river. We sat, drank our coffee, and watched the boats pass from our porch. The room wasn’t large but wasn’t small either. It’s an older property but the room was neat, clean, and nicely updated. Bed was comfortable and we had no problems at all. Ms Carol and the staff were warm and friendly and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Perfectly out of the way and peaceful but with plenty of options for enjoying the river. We’ll be back!

Our favorite place to stay when in the area. The cottages are so clean and cozy. Kitchen has everything you need and so bright with the windows. We love them! Haven't rented a room on the water yet, because we prefer the cottages. So peaceful and even the grounds are well maintained! Staff are always pleasant and very helpful. An upgrade on the loveseat would be my only negative. When made into a bed, the head of the mattress sinks into oblivion, lol. Very minor issue, but would make sleeping nicer. The area is gorgeous, lots of birds and we might even try a room on the water next time. If... we can force ourselves to pass on the cottage, lol.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice little freezer/fridge for my wife's meds and slept well in the bed. The only thing that kept it from 5-star was we needed to run the A/C all the time, and it wasn't "noisy", but wasn't quiet either.

The marina and resort were pristine and felt very private. Our room seemed to be freshly painted, with new furniture throughout. We didn't pay for a river view, but the river was visible through our window. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and welcoming. We can't wait to go back!

This is a tranquil property on the St. John's river. Rooms are clean, comfortable and updated. We enjoyed listening to the frogs croaking at night across the river and watching the light change at sunrise from the balcony over coffee. We saw a morning space shuttle launch from the property too. It is about 12 minutes from restaurants and groceries in Deland. There is no breakfast served but there is an ample mini fridge/freezer in the rooms and a microwave so we bring a few snacks, a bottle of wine and breakfast supplies. The office has snacks and drinks too. Deland has plenty of restaurants, bars and a few museums to explore. There are several State Parks with Springs nearby and Volusia Speedway for dirt track stock racing.

This property is a beautiful & quiet location right on the St.John's river. The room was spotless, and the staff was wonderful. I liked how the room and sheets smelled clean but not "Chemical" . Easy access to great fishing as well. What more can you ask for?!?!?
