Belle Fouche Econolodge

I heard a few poor reviews before I stayed, but I found it to be clean and reasonable priced, just what I was looking for. I would stay there again.

Nice breakfast, staff accommodated 3:00 a.m. need for coffee before a marathon (vs their normal breakfast opening time). Friendly staff. A bit dated, but room was perfectly clean. The aroma used in the hallway for cleaning (carpet, I'm guessing) is a bit off-putting but it didn't creep into the rooms. Would recommend for a quick stay in Belle Fourche

It was a good place to stay, clean and well put. Breakfast wasn’t that good… no options, but they do have cereal, coffee and pancakes. 🙂 Bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. Bathroom was clean and well stacked The staff was nice. The location was perfect since my plans were to go to the different sites. Everything within the hour. Happy customer here.

Staff is great, hotel is clean, and smells clean. Poor water pressure. Could barely rinse off in the shower and the hottest water setting is barely warm. Toliet doesnt flush well and shower curtain is old and has tears in it. The room is very clean, nice bed linens. Pool was closed from the looks of it. No hot tub, and no gym. Very queit which was bice. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff. Found hair in the room more than I liked. Floor was not as clean as I liked. The breakfast had no meat of any kind. No tea or hot cocoa. Donuts were not very good. Limited space. Very skimpy breakfast.

There were stains on the bedding. The pillows were dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty, we wiped it with a towel and it was black when done. The toilet had mold in it.

Good roadside pit stop!

This was a last minute road trip booking, overall it’s a nice place to stop, very clean and comfortable. It was a bit noisy from people leaving and arriving all hours cause this is more of a roadside pit stop then a place to vacation. The rooms aren’t super modern or anything but well taken care of and really clean. I noticed some rooms had carpet when some had wood like floors so seems like they are in the process of updating rooms. The guy working the front desk was very kind but literally had no idea what he was doing, he wasn’t sure how to see our booking through hotels.com making us wait for a manager to arrive while I had a crying baby and dog that had been sitting in the car for 9hours. So that was pretty annoying; the manager did show up and she took care of everything and let us have the dog in the room without a deposit on our card to make up for the issue. About 15mins from Spearfish too which is very nice.
