"Did not eat the room was the noisiest I’ve ever been in the town itself smells like cigarettes and sounds like a casino. You can’t even walk into a kids toy store or clothing store without there being a bar in it."

"Arrived at 3:00 which is check-in time. Was told our room was still being cleaned and should be ready in about 10 minutes. Not a big deal so we sat and waited. We watched as about six other rooms came in and checked in and wore given their keys right away while we sat. Did not get into our room until 4:15. We stay at this hotel every time we visit Deadwood which is fairly frequently and this experience left a very sour taste. I realize rooms are assigned prior to arrival, and was told numerous times they only have one housekeeper, but this shouldn't be my problem."

"I have always wanted to stay at the Franklin. Our stay met all of our expectations. The rooms were cozy and clean The rooms have been updated very nicely. Hotel staff was friendly. We eat breakfast at Legends, great food and service. Loved the location. Will stay there again!"
