"Good location, Our balcony overlooked the river. Easy to walk into town for coffee, restaruants, and some shopping. Some options for hot or cold food in their breakfast room, with good coffee."

"This property is very unique. It’s not a fancy boutique property. It is a quirky, nostalgic and fun property. The lobby reminds me of being in an antique treasure trove. The host/owner is so nice and accommodating. We felt very much like we mattered. It is not only dog friendly, but welcomed. The free breakfast was good, homeade barley biscuits and gravy, he even made eggs fresh for my husband. Coffee, juices and waffles. The rooms are older but clean and homey. It’s unique in that the room has an entry door to the parking lot as well as a door to the hallway that leads to the lobby. Which came in handy to grabbing the breakfast and coffee. And then also handy in running out to the car. The location is absolutely perfect. Downtown is within walking distance and the river is also within walking distance. We stayed for 3 nights. I would definitely return to stay here."

"Out of all of the places we stayed on our trip driving up the coast, this was by far our favorite stop. We stayed at fancy resorts and swanky hotels, but the Siltcoos retreat was just magical! The amount of detail everywhere you look was amazing. The time and effort put into our conductors cabin, had us in awe. You guys are legendary for what you’ve accomplished there. Y’all we had deer walk up to us in the back yard! They didn’t even care we were there! The next time we are in Oregon, we will be staying with you! Thank you again for a magical stay. Your creativity has inspired us! I also thought it was funny you had “Du Monde” coffee because my maiden name is Dumond. So cool!"
