"This is my third stay in this gorgeous hotel, conveniently located on main street within easy walking distance of cafés, bars and restaurants. Contemporary decor, huge rooms, well maintained grounds. I love that there is both an indoor and an outdoor pool. The views over the bay are just magical. "Staff was great but , we had to leave day earlier, the room was so musty . Humidity in the room was so intense that the bed and our clothes was wet . I understand that the staff told me “ ohh just adjust your temperature “ but then it was extremely cold on top the room that was wet . You can’t sleep or breathe so due to a health condition and health hazard we had to pack up and leave"

"Stopped in Chincoteague Va on our way home from the Outer Banks. The Anchor Inn was an adorable Inn. Clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony that faced the sound and we enjoyed the Sunset and a beautiful view with your coffee in the morning. The Inn is part of Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel. We definitely will stay there again"

"Staying in a "floating" bungalow was unique. Warning to those with mobility issues: it is not very easy to get up and onto the porch. It was quite a long walk on narrow, floating piers to get to the bungalow we were staying in, then it's a large step up from the floating pier onto the porch, especially during low tide.
Maybe those folks that take the reservations should ask customers if they have mobility issues before making the reservation."

"The rooms are in need of updating, and I would strongly recommend hiring a new cleaning crew that takes pride in how clean and well-maintained the rooms are.
The maintenance staff also needs improvement. Issues should be properly addressed and repaired the right way rather than putting a temporary “band-aid” on the problem. The overall condition of the rooms would greatly improve with better cleaning standards, updated accommodations, and maintenance staff who take the time to properly fix...
