"Newly remodeled rooms (May 2026) are absolutely beautiful and well done — no complaints there. And, the location is possibly 10/10 — close to beach and to the Design District. During my stay, however, the common areas were under construction and made the stay uncomfortable and disorienting, as there was no warning in advance when i reserved the room. So… great place but a wait and see when all is done."

"The rooms had a funky smell, not enough towels m. The two beds were not even queen size they were all full-size not what I expected old building staff not efficient. Will not stay there again. I saw a lot of people leaving the property because of the bad conditions of the rooms they are nothing compared to what the picture show be aware don’t book there. Save yourself money. I couldn’t stay the 2 nights because how uncomfortable I was."

"This hotel is currently undergoing renovations. When we checked in, the room appeared clean, but after walking barefoot for about 20 minutes while unpacking, my feet were black with dirt and dust. I immediately notified the front desk, and after we took a short walk with our dog, the room had been cleaned. The housekeeping staff was very friendly, but one day our room was not serviced. We were out for about five hours and returned around 3:00 p.m. to find it untouched. Since we planned to stay...

"The grounds are beautiful. Well maintained. There were multiple events outside on the lawn. Breakfast at Greenfinch (?) was good and filling. The wait staff were attentive. The day we were at the pool, the cafe was closed. If you go to the pool, go early. If you wait, there may not be any chairs. We had to rent a cabana. Definitely not worth the money. In the first cabana, the TV didn’t work. In the second cabana, the fan didn’t work. We were told maintenance would come to fix it. That...
