Scipio Hotel
8/10 Good
"Room 103. The room had a stale smell to it and was not pleasant as I walked in the first time. I turned on the fan and left for a while. When I came back the stench was bearable but not gone. The room had recent drywall repairs that weren't painted and I thought that was odd. The outlets in the room were worn out and need replacement. I use a CPAP machine to assist my breathing while sleeping overnight, but had to use a piece of tape to hold the plug into the wall outlet. Replacement wall plugs are only a couple of dollars each. The last thing was the mattress. I was obviously old and in need of replacement, I had to use extra towels to lay on the bed so I couldn't feel the springs within the mattress. To wrap it up, I would stay again if I had the opportunity, with hopes that some of my suggestions would be taken into account. Best of luck to you."

"It was a pretty standard lower cost hotel. The rooms were mostly clean, the breakfast was limited, the hotel was in decent shape. We were passing through for a night and it met our needs. There were a few downsides - their was hair in the shower (they clearly didn't fully clean it), the pool was very cold (which is probably great at noon on a hot day but was less great for our son at 8pm), and there was a guy smoking outside two doors down, which meant we got smoke in our room while trying to bring our stuff in. Otherwise it was fine."
