"Staff was helpful"

"This was our second stay here, and once again we had a great experience. The hotel was spotlessly clean, both in the common areas and in our room. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout our stay. The location is excellent and makes it easy to get around and enjoy the area. Parking was plentiful and convenient as well. One thing we especially appreciated was how quiet the rooms were — we slept great and never felt disturbed by noise from other guests or outside...

The room was clean, the furniture felt new, and the free wifi and parking was a big plus. The location was ideal — just a short drive or can be a good walk to the waterfront and nearby restaurants. "The hotel is a very good value and the room was spacious. It wasn’t scrubbed spotlessly clean, but it was good enough. The staff was very helpful. The secure Wi-Fi didn’t really work in the room, but it did in the lobby. All in all, I’d stay at La Quinta again."

"I'm hesitant to write a review, because this is the best-kept secret stay in Bellingham! The crew at the Coachman deserve it though. Everything was well-kept and clean. From the grounds/landscaping that I noticed right away, to the rooms and the breakfast and check-in area. I will stay there again the next time I'm in town. I visited with some of the staff, and they are genuinely appreciative of my stay and very personable."

"The lobby smelled when we first went it. The one guy practically accused me of stealing towels. We had 1 towel in our room and went to front desk and he basically accused me of stealing for I had not mentioned it sooner. The guy that checked us in was nice, but the guy in the morning was rude and disrespectful. The bed was ok and the area was quiet but the lobby smelled and the staff was not helpful or nice at all"

Seems like someone is living there its not only for travelers. Emagine you traveled long hrs yo expect to sleep. But its not bec. Of the noise of the next door. They should give a quiet time. "These beautiful grounds and lodgings quickly became a destination resort for us. We were content to relax in the privacy of the exquisite gardens in silence. The hosts were so considerate; after serving a delicious home cooked breakfast they just retreated and we were alone to enjoy the remainder of the day.
