"They are very proud of the fact that this an old hotel, but antiques in the room don't matter if the bed isn't very comfortable. The continental breakfast was passable, but the atmosphere reminded me of a funeral parlor, very subdued. What I found most annoying was that the parking gate is locked at 10:00 pm and there is no staff on duty until 7:00 am. We parked in the street and used a pin # to get into the hotel. We hadn't planned to return late, but apparently we wasted too much time enjoying our after dinner cafe and underestimated the 1 1/2 hour drive from the Pyrenee's. We arrived at 10:07 pm. Had I known all this, I wouldn't have chosen the Bristol. "
