"We had such a lovely stay at the Bluebird Motel. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, the rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully kept, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It’s rare to find a place that feels this inviting—we truly appreciated the care that went into making our stay so enjoyable."

"Property is situated directly on the Machias River. It is a beautiful setting with outdoor seating directly out the sliding doors of your room. Direct room access from your car is a plus."

"If you love adventure, rural, rustic and a homey atmosphere, this is the place for you. Enjoy hot tub, sitting around a fire and meeting new people. I would recommend bringing your own food to cook or eat before arriving, as there no near restaurants. You do share a bathroom with other guests and rooms are very basic with no TV . The place to go if you love peace and quietness."

"This was a first for me, I had never stayed in a B&B before. The breakfast was great. I did like you had an option of the room with a bathroom and one without. I’m glad we picked the one with because on the second night someone was in the other room and they were noisy and dropping a lot of items on the floor and shutting the door loudly. I will not score this B&B low because it’s not their fault. This is a lovely place if you like B&B. Thanks for the experience. "
