Very cool to visit these "Pura" or Balinese Hindu temples, and when they say the land of 1000 Temples they are not exaggerating ! Matter of fact... there are most likely more than that. Hinduism is the predominant religion in the island of Bali.
Bali has a population of over 4 million people, the number of mopeds on Bali’s roads is estimated at well over 1.5 million. It is truly chaos to watch them drive around and I would NOT recommend renting a moped to get around. You can hire a taxi driver for the whole day relatively cheap compared to, well... death.
