Second time at Puri and didnt dissapoint again Staff are great , for the most part quiet ,great location beachfront with small warungs close and some local shopping on the beach and along the jalan cemara if you can handle the bartering , walkable to Icon bali (45 minutes) or a 5 minuye taxi (100000 rupiah)with plenty restaurants and more shopping on the way Definitely will be back next year

I had the Adults only Santrian Room, it was big, the bed was super comfy but it all looked old. Old is fine but I complained about the sewerage smell coming from the pipes, they gave me an oil diffuser.... The staff are really nice and they look after the grounds well. The food was lovely, brekky was great. The location was good.

Puri Santrian

Fabulous hotel right on the beach. Stayed in the adults only with a dedicated pool for that area of the hotel. Really enjoyed it. Breakfast was full of options. Service was wonderful.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, set both on the beach and main road. Our room was huge! and had a balcony overlooking the pool which was beautiful. There are lots of different swimming options at the hotel, and free bike hire. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and the staff made you feel really safe and relaxed.

We were very happy with our allocated room and it was lovely and quiet. The choice of pools to relax or swim and the beautiful gardens were fantastic. Having the ocean a few metres away was also a plus .? The time of year was very quiet but suited us. Would definitely recommend it .

A perfect ending for our stay in Bali. The garden-like, well maintained and tidy surroundings combined with our comfy and spacious room made for a very relaxing experience. The hotels gardens are absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in a prenier room which was huge and well furnished. The pool was for premier guests only and was gorgeous as well as adult only and tranquil. The hotel restaurants were very good and good value for money . The beach bar is a great place to hang out and enjoy a meal or a drink. The Asian restaurant is gorgeous. The building is beautiful and the food excellent. Finally all members of staff are friendly, helpful and always smiling

Very charming property in a relatively quiet area, good customer service and room service was efficient. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming towards guests staying at the hotel. The only thing to impove is the spa service. Although the spa I had was nice however I felt that the price was too high compared to other places that offer a similar service.

We stayed a week at the Sankara. Great location in front of the pool and the beach. There is a snorkeling spot just in front of the hotel and we really enjoyed ! No need to take a boat (except to see the manta). Overall clean. Good service and very kind staff. Restaurant ok by the beach. Scooter rental available and anything else you need. Probably the best hotel in the Island. Highly recommended !

An excellent resort hotel. What I loved the most here was the Balinese style of the place. The beautiful gardens, the excellent pool areas and building architecture place you very firmly in a Bali experience. Set right on the beach with a long walking promenade all along the beach leading to other restaurants, bars etc. Close by just outside the front gate there are many more places to eat and drink too. Food at the hotel is also very good. Service and friendliness of the staff was very good. Rooms are dark but well appointed and large. I've stayed in number of places along this busy coast and this is my pick - the one I'd come back to.

The room itself is OK, nothing to write home about. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. My only complaint is that I felt that some staff was rude, not all, but as usual some ruin it for the rest. I also am pretty sure I got charged for 2 extra breakfast buffets but I really did not feel like arguing with them, language barrier. It was a very pretty hotel, pools and landscaping are amazing.

I booked the Adults only Club Room which has a separate pool, Jacuzzi and is very silent. The resort is massive, the breakfast good. SPA and laundry I can’t judge. Happy Hour Cocktails at the pool were great, the best rates in Bali. I enjoyed the stay a lot! Two suggestions: you have a sign at the sun bed to not reserve beds, but you did not take action. Beds were sometimes reserved the entire day. Reception is very friendly but the staff during afternoon tea time at the beach or at the restaurant was not always friendly and attentive. I waited 30 min to be served. The promenade at the beach with all its restaurants is amazing!

Not a ”Bali beach”

We were upgraded to a Club room. An outdated room far from the main pool and dining. We asked to be down graded again to a modern room. It was small but had a fresh bathroom close to the besch and pool are. They did this without complaints. The breakfast was good and people working there terrific. The beach is sometimes full of sea weed and they took it away one day out of 8, the water had always a lot of it. So, during 8 days stay we swimmed twice in the sea. The pool area is nice. People are allowed to book pool beds with some towels even if it was stipulated on signs saying…not ok.
