"We picked Grandmom's Place just needing to spend one night in Krabi Town. The room was comfortable and clean, and it was very good value for money. One big plus is that it is within walking distance of good restaurants, bars and the like - it is very convenient indeed - will certainly stay there again"

"This was our 3rd stay for a short period, but the next time will be much longer as this is the BEST nights sleep I've ever had in a hotel in Thailand. The beds are incredibly comfortable with GIANT pillows. The staff has always been accommodating. The bathtub on the balcony with ceiling fan is by & far one of the best amenities after a long day of trekking around Krabi.
With onsite laundry, classes, all day snacks & drinks. Shaded day beds by the pool, it's a hidden gem oasis.

"Room was a good size with a balcony for smokers. Near night market. Love how clean and simple it is. There's tours and bike rentals provided at the 24hrs reception. I've always recommended my friends to this hotel if their doing a stopover in Krabi town. Don't compare it to Aonang of course as it's more quiet compared to the beach side which attracts more tourists. Nonetheless it's a 30 mins drive to the Airport if you have an early flight and need a good rest."

"Das Raya Hotel ist ein sehr schönes und modernes, neues Hotel. Alles ist super sauber und neuwertig und der Service ist sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter helfen einem immer weiter und sind super freundlich. Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge geeignet - auch zum Busbahnhof & zum Flughafen gelangt man unkompliziert. Zum Tiger Cave Tempel fährt man circa 15 Minuten und zum Ao Nang Beach circa 20 Minuten. "Well it was a rocky start, wrong room then broken aircon then a lost transport bus. However this was all fixed rapidly thabks to 2 members of staff the lady on the pink desk and the gentleman in the cafe area. They really are a saving grace for the hotel. Once the problems where fixed the stay was fine and i would advise it for people. The 3pm check in could do with being 2pm like most other hotels but thats really the only thing i would change."
