The staff is very nice and very understanding. The only thing I didn't like was I had to walk quite a distance to get food because I didn't have a car. But the owner or the main manager I think he's the owner was helpful and did offer a ride but not to me because he didn't know I needed a ride

Red Roof Inn Des Moines
Despite other negative reviews, the stay was better than expected, room was clean and had useful inner and outer doors, even several hot breakfast items in the morning.

Hotel Fort Des Moines, Curio Collection by Hilton
Beautiful hotel and everyone was so friendly...a big shout-out to Dakota at the front desk who was so patient with me and my 3 sisters and our 4 rooms. Great location, however... i would have liked the rooms to be stocked with those tiny, folded up shower caps.
