"Staff was wonderful! Our junior suite was comfortable. We enjoyed some of the older touches of the place as it evoked good memories of times gone by. Things are basic and it was very clean. The bed was comfortable and we were thankful for the ac that we could control in the room. Lots of easy walking and interesting places to eat in walking distance. "The reception area had a funky smell when we arrived. The carpeting etc. in the hallways needs updating, walls need painting. I would not even bother to leave a negative review about that, however, but the room was not up to anyone's standards for clean. They did a decent job in the bathroom area but that is about it. I thought maybe they were short-staffed but there were staff members all over the place. I have to believe that no one is checking the cleanliness of the rooms. Every surface was...

"Nice New England Inn with great attached restaurant/ brewery. Dinner was fantastic - didn’t try the breakfast. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The in-room fridge is very small."

"I have stayed here many times and I have always found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They also have added coffee and breakfast available in the morning which is a plus. My only complaint is that the valet parking is exorbitant. It's easier to leave your car on the street over night and move it before 9 am, which they don't tell you."
