"We enjoyed our stay. We paid a bit more for the balcony room with panoramic view and balcony. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy. The balcony was small and dated but fine to sit out on for a drink. We had breakfast once which was nice. The pool is good for a refreshing dip but does get v busy at certain times. "Fabulous experience and highlight of our 3 weeks in Europe. Beautiful castle, fabulous dinner and breakfast and the experience was lovely and regal with our maître D. The grounds and historic site added to the weekend. Played tennis and will have to come back to enjoy the pool and hot tub when it is not raining. They are renovating some as well, but this is a well preserved piece of history while still have the charm you would expect from a castle. Better than all the modernized chateau’s."

"City centre hotel with adequate parking. Units are in hotel and outside as separate blocks. Comfortable and well decorated. Could do with revising room light switches to control lights from bedside. Bedside lighting was unsatisfactory to me. But it is a nice hotel. Friendly staff."

"Not sure where the photos on GMaps were taken but it doesn’t look like this hotel. We were initially given a room on the ground floor with no aircon. Summer of 2026 - 36 deg. We travel with a dog and a cat! Don’t ask! We queried the aircon and the receptionist move us to the first floor which are the pics I have shared.
