"The Parador de Limpias is in a lovely old building with modern ‘wings’ added - we were not too sure if the modern architecture matched the historic original architecture - however, everyone has their own taste in architecture. " Aunque el tiempo en Cantabria no es del todo caluroso y es más bien fresquito no quita para que las habitaciones, si no tienen aire acondicionado, tengan aunque sea un misero ventilador. Pasamos unas noches de tremenda calor, sin poder dormir, en una habitación dos metros cuadradros con una ventana estrechísima al exterior por donde no entraba ni gota de aire fresco. Descasamos muy mal esas noches y al día siguiente estábamos reventados para cubrir kilómetros en ver sitios."

"A very clean and comfortable city centre hotel, perfectly located for the old town, the markets, the promenade and the ferries. There is limited parking, so book this early, but if you get a space it makes your stay so much easier - and it’s not too expensive (€17.50 per night).
