After we explained the nature of our visit, Dave, who has a vast knowledge of all things to do with World War II, kindly recommended many things for us to pack in our short trip. J’avais pourtant demandé une chambre supérieure, mais on m’a attribué une chambre en rez-de-chaussée qui ressemblait à une catégorie économique oubliée des années 70 : odeur d’humidité persistante, salle de bain minuscule et dans son jus, serviettes d’entrée de gamme.
