"The room was clean enough and the bed was fine but there was no soundproofing on the windows so you could hear everything outside. While attached to two pubs and a main city train station and noises went on til gone midnight. I asked about switching rooms but they were full.
The lifts were all broken but reception staff didn't tell you when checking in (and they weren't labelled as out of order on day 1.)
If it was a cheap hotel I would understand but it was really expensive!"

"This hotel is not worth 3 stars — 1 star at best. I will never stay here again.
Firstly, the room smelled strongly of mold.
The towels, sheets, and other linens were fine, but the room itself had a strong musty, moldy smell. There was no adequate ventilation system, so the smell just lingered in the room.
Secondly, the front desk staff were extremely unhelpful.
The next day, I asked to change rooms, but I was told that there were no single rooms available and that I would have to pay the...
