"For the price it does the trick. Room was clean and staff were great. Sophie at the reception was fantastic. Some of the rooms on the main floor are a bit small and not a lot of air circulation. Close to a mall and the lots of restaurants."

"No AC, loud noises from street (lots of motorcycles), loud music from lobby (karaoke machine?), bed with no blanket (only top sheet), and bathroom out of TP and paper towels. However, hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any inquiries. Decent storage in room closet. Area is secure (garage door and front door locked at night). Had a private room for 4 and it did the trick for a 1 night stay before early flight but otherwise would be rough. "

"Excelente comunicación con los dueños del lugar, muy amplio, y cerca de la UCR. No hay servicios per se (short stay apartment), pero para los que compren y lleven por ejemplo alimentos hay refrigerador y horno de microondas."

"Cozy little family-owned hotel in San Jose. Like many places in San Jose, it is closed up like a prison, with bars and locks to get through. Once inside, the family that runs the place couldn't have been nicer. We arrived at their mealtime and they offered us a share of their own lunch! Really great folks. The room was spotless and clean. The bed reasonably comfortable by Costa Rican standards. The bathroom was clean and will need some updating/renovation/repair soon. The shower handle...

"WiFi didn't work in room. Staff allowed smoking. The place smelled strongly of smoke. Staff watched TV in the reception area - this was too loud in the room. Room was not clean. There was still half a bottle of water from a previous guest in the room. This could be a nice place to stay, but there is little attention to details: Bathroom door scrapes across the floor and is difficult to open. No ventilation in the room. Not even a fan! No bedside lamps or power outlets. Off-street...
