"The nicest and sweetest family runs this hostel. I broke my phone during my trip and the lady that runs it went out of her way to help me order a taxi ride on a local ride app with her phone to make sure I got the airport safely to get home. She didn’t speak English but that didn’t stop her being a great person and helping me out. Showers could use more warmer water but overall not issues "

"Excelente comunicación con los dueños del lugar, muy amplio, y cerca de la UCR. No hay servicios per se (short stay apartment), pero para los que compren y lleven por ejemplo alimentos hay refrigerador y horno de microondas."

"Cozy little family-owned hotel in San Jose. Like many places in San Jose, it is closed up like a prison, with bars and locks to get through. Once inside, the family that runs the place couldn't have been nicer. We arrived at their mealtime and they offered us a share of their own lunch! Really great folks. The room was spotless and clean. "WiFi didn't work in room. Staff allowed smoking. The place smelled strongly of smoke. Staff watched TV in the reception area - this was too loud in the room. Room was not clean. There was still half a bottle of water from a previous guest in the room. This could be a nice place to stay, but there is little attention to details: Bathroom door scrapes across the floor and is difficult to open. No ventilation in the room. Not even a fan!
