"House and the overall property was very good with excellent views. Had good clean linen and towels. It would have been good if they had left few Kitchen paper rolls and had a dish washer installed. The main problem we faced was that the Jacuzzi never worked for the whole two days that we were at the property. While the host (Alex) was very responsive and tried to get it to work, it never worked, this was a big let down. "

"The property sits on a hill so walking to shops was not an option for us. However, we had no problems getting a taxi when we wanted to venture out! The rooms are absolutely amazing!! You can see the most amazing views and sunsets from the rooms balcony! The rooms are clean and the beds put you to sleep immediately, they are soo comfortable The staff are super awesome from the waiters, to cleaning and grounds people!! "We were unfortunately only there for one night but the property and the staff were delightful and even brought us boxed breakfasts at 3 AM before an early flight out. The property is remarkable with several pools, trails, and views. Worth the price of admission for that alone, but the staff knows what they are doing."

"We could relax at the lodge. Meals were delicious and the staffs had wonderful hospitality. I wish I could get a little larger bath towel."

"This hotel is basic, a room and a private bathroom, but that is all we needed. We were there one night as a waystation to where we were going from the airport. There was no staff on site at night or in the morning when we were there. I don't speak Spanish. Fortunately another guest helped us arrange a taxi to our car rental. Note: This room does not have any view from a window except of the wall of the building next door six inches away. "

"This was a lovely place to spend our first couple of nights in Costa Rica after a long flight. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfasts were great, as was our evening meal. The accommodation felt vibrant and Costa Rican, which we loved, but could do with a little updating. However, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We really enjoyed the coffee tour and would highly recommend it."

"We stayed at the Berlin on our way back to Canada. Spotless room. Really lovely, helpful staff. She booked us an airport taxi for very early the next morning. They were up when we were leaving at 5 am and gave us coffee and a take-out breakfast. We will stay there on our next visit."

"Sure there were a lot of hot tubs but there quite a few that wasn’t working. It seemed like they were in the middle of doing maintenance/ repairs. Do not book the Chalet if you are looking for clean and comfort. The couches were stained, the stairs to the loft is narrow and the walk same walkway was terrifying. You need a wristband to enjoy the “attractions” and you have purchase the breakfast at the reception desk. "

"Outstanding stay! We came for the gardens, and they did not disappoint. They were beautiful and extremely well maintained. The gardeners were great and helped us locate some birds. We were equally impressed with the hotel. It is a lovely building with comfortable rooms. The restaurant is fantastic and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. The staff were all friendly and helpful. "
