"Tout était parfait, l’accueil la chambre, la salle de bain nickel. J’aurais apprécié des œufs brouillés au petit déjeuner plutôt que des œufs durs, froids. Le jambon dans la boîte Tupperware, pas très pratique à se servir et quelques fourchettes à disposition aurait été appréciées "

"Absolutely spectacular. We really enjoyed our time at Chateau de Candes. Bertrand and Sam went out of their way to ensure that our stay was as comfortable as possible. "After seeing mixed reviews I had been concerned but for the price we paid this place is amazing. We were lucky to have been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apt, which I would book first time if we came again as see that the one bed would be small for 4. It had everything we needed (except a fan) Like everyone else who stayed whilst the weather was around 35 degrees, we struggled with the heat and no air con, had to sleep with the bedroom door open (we had a ground floor apartment but it felt safe). "Lovely hotel in an old country mansion. Beautiful grounds. Very helpful staff able to assist in booking tours. Quiet location 15 min walk into town and slightly closer to train station. Our room was small, but nice. Comfortable bed. Dinner in the restaurant was really delicious. "

"Wonderful small boutique airbnb in meticuloisly renovated property within the old central part of Chinon. Maurice is the perfect host and always helpful. Amazing breakfast. Stayed on second ( top) floor room, and did not find stairs difficult."
