Cari Hotel di Dewan Kota Praja Alice Springs

"location, staff, was just what the doctor ordered."

"Pros - early check in, rooms are really clean, breakfast is good, car park secure, decent gym. Cons - I booked a room with self catering facilities but due to overbooking I was given a room with no self catering facilities. As a good will gesture, I was given 25% off dining. When I went to get dinner at 8pm, they told me the restaurant manager was sick and they could not serve me. Be prepared to not get the room you paid for. The difference in price has also not been refunded."

"Nice big room, clean, helpful staff, good gym, good breakfast. Will come back"

"Great location if you’re in town for appointments or shopping etc"

"Functional hotel as a base between tours into the outback. It was clean but tired looking. Our first room's air conditioning was very weak. The second room was much better. It was quite noisy at night with a drunk guest the first night."

"Room was clean, and the hotel was well located"

"Staff are nice & helpful, always accommodate your needs :) Room is perfect for what you need & pool area is a bonus on hot days!"

"The place looked abandoned & not open. Absolutely zero communication from the host about checkin process. The property had no access, was surrounded by a high wall & had high grass surrounding it on all sides. I repeat - it looked abandoned & very sketchy. My husband decided not to even stay there because it did not look to be in a safe area. We went to the Hilton Doubletree instead, which is a lovely hotel in Alice. I cannot recommend anything at all about VATU Sanctuary. "

"This hostel is perfect for travellers doing a guided outback tour. You can leave your big luggage there for free and they offer super early breakfast, because the tour operators pick you up early morning usually."

"The actual place looks like it shouldn’t be open, looks like a construction site but nothings being done. The one room that looks like it’s to be used that we were given smelt like it had been completely coated in bleach it was that strong that it burnt the nose hairs. We gave the key back and the person there asked why, we said we decided to keep going - not happy at all and wasted $200!!"
