"Dinner buffet is really good. February temperature in the room with central heat was good. Hot water - plenty with central heating. Rooms are cosy and clean. Lobby, hallways not heated in the winter (story of the whole region), so you are stuck between room and restaurant. Upstairs is a nice bar on the roof top with pool table. Very quite in hotel. Nowhere to walk from it, hills are steap- in the same.time it's a great location - its peaceful . You need to take taxi to main Street and Dalai...

"Had booked The Himalayan on a friends advise and I must say it was an amazing, out of the world stay for 4 nights . Just as in the pictures it gives a real feel of staying in a castle . The rooms were quite big and beds most comfortable. Of course the view from the windows of the snow capped mountains and Manali town below was just too good to be true. "It was highly inconvenient and the manager is highly disrespectful.They took the whole money before hand and we did not even stay there for the whole trip and checked out a day earlier and they didn’t refund a penny.. food was disgusting.. toilets clogged and food leaking .. highly unhygienic and stinky place .. I came all the way from Canada and I highly regret my decision. No courtesy ."

Amazing views of surrounding snow covered hills and forest were simply amazing and will be long cherished. Food was superb, room service was great. "It would be nice for the property to arrange for some food options for the drivers since it is impossible to get there if you are not used to drive in India. The general facilities are great, the kitchen is great and would prepare food for you even if it is not in the menu. The views are stunning, I would definitely visit again."
