"Stayed at this hotel on Temple Road, McLeod Ganj in January end 2026 and honestly had a very nice experience. Food was really good. The balcony view was amazing — you can see Dharamshala and snow-covered mountains, which felt super peaceful. However, the location of the property is quite inconvenient — there’s nothing nearby, and you need to drive at least 30 minutes just to find food outside. "We had a wonderful stay at Echor Tree Mandara Village. The hotel was beautiful, very clean, great location and kind staff. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, and the restaurant was delicious. It also has a beautiful view of the mountains and Dharamshala. Highly recommended and will be staying again when back!"

"5 Star Indian, but with some definite things to consider before booking. First they play Better Together by Jack Johnson across the hotel on auto-repeat. No gaps, no songs in between, you can guess the next song... Better Together... well except for at breakfast. There you will get a tight repeat of a Krishna Yoga Tune inside and Jack on the patio. The yoga music has no gaps and repeats the same phrases again and again until you want to scream. I'll get back to the subject of breakfast in a bit....
