"I hate leaving negative info but for the benefit of future travelers, I have to be honest about a few items with this property: 1. It was absolutely buzzing with flies inside. There was spray and a fly swatter inside which indicates this must be a known issue to the property manager. It made our short stay very uncomfortable. 2. This is not a hot tub, it is a swedish bath. "We booked two rooms and had a fabulous 3-night stay here. Both hotel receptionists were very welcoming; they were especially helpful giving us sightseeing details, great dining options nearby at the lakefront etc always with a cheerful face! Our rooms are comfortably spacious and have a balcony. This hotel has a laundry facility (just what we needed) and is conveniently located right next to the Montreux railway station and to the nearby tram stops. "Great hotel! Definitely a bit quirky but in a good way. Great location. Make sure to use the elevator if coming from train station. There are 2 that will take you to the lower street. We didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Marlen at front desk was wonderful !"

"I know this is a budget hotel, but some things are hard to ignore. When I arrived, there was no hot water in my bathroom. The guy on the desk seemed dubious and kept saying I had to “let it run”. I did, for over three minutes. Eventually I convinced him to come and look. Once that was sorted, it was never really hot. I had to ask several times for an extra pillow.
