"A beautiful Spa hotel with lovely amenties. The staff were so helpful. There were quite a few steps to negotiate in the Spa which was not good but, again, the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately the breakfast did not live up to the rest. The bacon looked pale and very uninteresting full of white stuff! The whole cooked breakfast was quite cold. Continental breakfast was good and varied. Teapots and milk jugs would stop a lot of walking about! Dinner was really good."

Unfortunately the blind on the large bathroom window would not close and as we were on the top floor it was very exposed & i was concerned that when it got darker in the evening, using the facilities would be seen by the opposite buildings. "Absolutely terrible. Booked executive suite. Looked nothing like the pictures. Stained couch and curtains, burnt iron mark in carpet, kettle with 1 cup, all furniture dishevelled and looked like it had been bought from a charity shop. When you entered the first thing you encountered was a very unpleasant smell and to top it all off there were 2 doors entering the room, one of which led directly into the bed area and did not lock from inside. We stayed for 10 minutes and when we told reception...

"I have stayed here a few times and will recommend it. Comfortable stay, nice in house restaurant with good parking."

"Property was a little dated and in need of a refurb. Coffee machine at the bar not working and they ran out of forks at breakfast. Checked in at 3pm, however, room was not ready with cleaners still cleaning the room. We were asked to go and wait in the bar for 20 minutes. No offer of a drink whilst we waited."
