"Gorgeous accommodations with an incredible view and convenient, walkable location. I loved everything about this stay (except that it wasn't long enough). The amenities were well-appointed, the bed super comfortable, and the staff were friendly and efficient. "

"Friendly staff. The room is clean, tidy and the bed is comfortable. Sadly the motel WiFi didn't work from inside the room, and the heater didn't heat up properly."

"At the time of writing, this hotel has a 9.2 on Expedia. That is truly absurd.
This hotel is old (they don’t call it “historic” for nothing) and run down (featuring peeling wallpaper, a saggy matress, threadbare carpet and a kitchen that looks like it was built in the 80s). Making things worse, there is literally not a single thing of interest in Kumara (it only exists because it is a stop on the West Coast Wilderness Trail). Check-in - excellent and helpful
Room readiness and cleanliness - very good
Bathroom + toiletries - good
Bed - poor with a hump in the middle
Pillows - good
Guest laundry - yes
In house restaurant - very good. Nice menu.
Locality - very close to town centre, restaurants, cafe’s, gas station
Summary - nice place to stay. Sadly the double bed had a hump in the middle which was a bit uncomfortable.
