"I had many thoughts about a hospital hotel. How far from the hospital and would it really be as nice as it looks. Well it was better than expected and the bonus was how it was part of the hospital, we had come by bus / train and so easy to find. Just ask people if you get stuck, bus driver was great. Food, we ate from the dinning room, very reasonably priced and good quality food. We enjoyed the pool too. I would say, a sign at the hospital entrance would be good. As we did get anxious about...

"A little gem in Scotland all off grid and powered by solar and wood burners. Excellent deco and facilities with no 3 pin electric socket so no tv and the perfect place to chill and relax especially in the wood fired hot tub. "I was surprised finding out that this hotel is also used by students long term, as it is really nice and well looked after! Unlike typical dorms! The staff there are absolutely amazing. Most of them I have contact with made me feel special and valued as a customer. A couple of them were especially nice, remembering me from previous days (I stayed there for 3 nights) and commented on our previous encounters. Food is delicious and affordable, so I didn't even think of eating outside of the hotel....

"Staff very helpful, room clean and amenities really good. Breakfast lovely and good selection. Only marked down as we stayed during the heatwave and despite having air conditioning, due to eco desirable restrictions it was limited to 19°C in the rooms. The result, rooms way too hot and we didnt sleep well. Surely a manager should have the authority on the handful of days a year that the weather is so hot, to be able to allow the air con in the rooms to go lower."
