"I thought I had secured a pet friendly room through Expedia, but apparently that was not the case. The front desk clerk gave me the option of keeping the room and letting my friend Jack sleep in my car, or take a cabin. I opted for the cabin because I know how to use an outhouse. However, there was no running water, no shower, etc. and not even a gallon of water was provided. There was face soap and make up remover packets provided, but no basin and the water in the little sink went directly...

"Due to the tornados that came through Chicago, our flight was delayed by a day. Our reservation was for 3 days. I called the hotel when I realized our trip to Alaska was being delayed and asked to modify the reservation from 3 days to 2 days. I was told no problem and that it would be taken care of. Imagine my surprise when I was charged for 3 days instead of the 2 days we stayed there. I feel that since I called 3 days before the day we were supposed to arrive that I should have only been...

"It was a beautiful property and the location is quiet and well maintained"

"Nice little hotel that is way out of town and the road to it can be a mud river when it rains. The amenities were good but there is no staff on site."

"The hotel itself, and the staff, were great. The only downside was being work up multiple times in the night by some noisy/inconsiderate guests. I had to call the front desk to deal with the situation, but it was just a frustrating situation to be in."

"The room was warm and the air conditioner was loud. It made it hard to sleep. There was no window that opened to let in fresh air. I left at 2:30 am."

"Very nice lodge! Water pressure and hot water not very good. Breakfast buffet very good, but $26 per person. Suggest eating light in the coffee shop inside the gift shop. Terrific coffees and breakfast sandwiches and pastries will save some money. Good shuttle to downtown, $10 per person day pass. Staff was very nice. Take a walk in the gardens along the river...beautiful."

"Ordered a room with a pullout sofa bed, got a chair that did nothing. Staff told me it was my problem. Said I should have reported it earlier. Then I found out dirty cleaning sponge on the floor. They moved us to a new room but it was directly above the mitchen and smelled like onions the while stay we were there. The restaurant is not a bar of the hitel so you cant order room service and the alcohol cant leave the bar. Paint was chipping off the walls in all rooms."
