"From the moment we were picked up from the train station by Louie we were made to feel very welcome all the staff friendly and amazing, I had my birthday weekend and we loved it ! "Enjoyed the stay until breakfast time which wasn’t good and spoilt our experience. Took 15 mins to be served coffee and 45 mins to be served our breakfast. Restaurant was only half full so not busy. Also after waiting that long my wife’s breakfast was the wrong order. There was no salt and pepper on the table so we asked the waitress to get us some. She didn’t come back so my wife had to go and ask her again. After the third time of asking she eventually brought us some. Shame to have been let...

"Amazing and super friendly staff"

"Always like this hotel - and the staff have always been helpful. When i requested a quiet room they moved me to a room overlooking the garden area . All good, clean and comfy, complimentary water etc. They seem to have removed real ales from the bar which is a shame - although fantastic bar opposite in the station so not a biggy!"

"What a wonderful hotel in a beautiful location. Stunning views. Fabulous staff who work very hard and go above and beyond. The breakfast was delicious and the waiting on staff were very attentive and friendly. The swimming pool was fabulous! "This hotel is not a 4 star hotel - from asking staff it is not accredited by anyone, it is a rating given by the hotel itself. So, why was it so terrible? The room was hot, not warm but hot. The windows were bolted shut probably because of the extensive guano and rubbish piled outside. We had the joy of looking out at a dead, decomposing pigeon hanging metres from our window. "Very over priced, Cleaner didn’t replenish the Milk tea coffee etc one of the cups in the room wasn’t clean on arrivsal. Generally a disapointing experience,"

"Hair dryer set on fire, and room smelt of smoke.Staff solution was to open a window. Shower was just boiling hot water. Room door lock didn’t always work. Room needed renovation. Would not recommend. Staff didn’t ask about our stay when checking out."

"On check in I had to wait until the room was ready but at least 5 couples checked in before me. They could have let me know when the room was ready instead I had to que up again. Other thank that all good clean hotel nice staff."
