"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. "Beautiful tranquil villa on a picturesque mountainside. Very clean, open villa with amazing Infinity pool, rainforest showers and dining area. Fantastic view of mountains, tea plantation and rapids. Shuttle service up mountain to villa. Very friendly staff with delicious dining service. Would absolutely recommend this stay. "

"My family and I had a fantastic time staying at the Weir House. Our only regret was that we could only stay one. From the patio of the house, we could hear the rapids of the river and surrounded by verdant forest. Staying here truly was a highlight of our Sri Lanka trip. "Such a stunning property in a relaxing location. Just what we needed after an early morning train journey and visit to the temple. The host made our group of six very welcome and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere of the villa. The architecture is a credit to the owner, who designed and furnished it himself. Truly a stunning home."

"Beautiful location, really lovely rooms and the staff simply can not do enough for you. The location is a bit outside of kandy about 10 to 15 minute tuk tuk ride but the prices for food and drinks are very good value and the view is amazing so we only ventured out at night once over our 3 nights. "

Hunger pains

"While the property is a lovely looking boutique hotel it lacks one critical thing. A restaurant. I don’t know how I overlooked this fact or I would have simply booked at another property. Not to mention the young man who checked me in acted like he couldn’t find my reservation. Luckily my driver stepped in and assisted. "
