"Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.
Pros: Great location near shopping/old town. Hotel staff very attentive. Rooms clean and well maintained.
Cons: Repairs/scaffolding underway create noise and visual impairment out windows. Pigeons (birds) are in the walls/ceilings of several rooms... they have penetrated through the roof or air vents (noise). Bathroom shower stall very small and shower floor dangerously slippery.
Neutral: Breakfast buffet good at fair price, but...

"The hotel is very well placed in old district of Bordeaux, the beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would have found it helpful if the posting for the hotel noted that guests needed to carry their bags up & down some stairs since elevator stops are not on the same level as the rooms and lobby. It wasn’t a problem for us since our bags were not too large and the staff were eager to help. We liked the hotel."

"I rarely write a review but I think this hotel experience categorically does not deserve a rating of over 8, given that our room:
- was next to a public alleyway, meaning the curtains had to be closed the whole time, allowing for no natural light
- had no door between the bedroom and toilet, with a short distance between the two, absolutely zero privacy
I imagine we were given one of the worst rooms in the hotel, but regardless this is completely subpar quality for the experience expected!"

"Idéalement situé au cœur de la vieille ville . C’est un établissement plein de charme . Il a les qualités de l’ancien et forcément les défauts de l’ancien … isolation phonique, stationnement difficile …
