"Great hotel in a beautiful location. We only stayed one night, but could have stayed longer. The pools looked fantastic and well cleaned. We had an excellent meal, and then played pool on the table next to the bar! The hotel is trying hard to be eco, and we had a very interesting bathroom surrounded by plants in the shower, and an open air roof - covered by mesh to stop anything nasty getting in! We watched a fantastic sunset whilst drinking cocktails. Very memorable. Staff were lovely."

"Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. "Very clean room and lovely hosts. AMAZING breakfast!!! Beautiful location in nature with lots of animals to wake you early in the morning. The one stressor I had during my visit is that I am scared of spiders, and some big ones got into the room after I did. Yashodara handled this amazingly. She got them out, gave me a bug spray, and provided me with her phone number in case the spiders disturbed me in the night. (They didn't.) Definitely a nice place to stay in Habarana! "Location is good. Lots of ants and insects in the room. Host was welcoming. But be aware of food cost. Ask price before ordering. We order seafood dinner for three. He made combination of fish, calamari, tiny crabs and few shrimp and charged 50 dollars(water for drink). We paid as we did not ask before eating. Then he came back and ask 800 rupees for driver’s break fast. We paid. A minute later he came for driver’s accommodation cost. At that point we said, NO. We stayed 2 weeks in Sri Lanka....
