"Room was clean and good size, the are currently under going a glow up. Breakfast was excellent."

"Charming place right in the middle of town. Very quiet at night. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Bed comfy with quality linen. Staff lovely and very helpful. Great breakfast downstairs in the cafe below."

"The upgraded cabin was so peaceful and the deep hot bath on the verandah was an incredible experience listening to the wind in the trees and the boobook owl. The care for country walk the next day led us deeper into the rainforest and the tranquillity of the place. The compost toilet was very effective and the be extremely comfy. Everything worked and we had nature visible in every direction through the windows and does and on the deck. Fabulous"

"Everything was clean and tidy, the host was lovely, and the house and grounds were stunning."

"Check-in was confusing, as there was no one at reception on arrival. When I called the provided number, I was instructed to open a locked room that was already occupied by another guest, which was quite concerning. There were also no clear instructions provided for the check-out process. Since my stay, I have been receiving emails stating that payment has not been made. This is incorrect, as I paid in full at the time of booking and have receipts to confirm this."

"Beautiful setting and our hosts thought of everything. Highly recommend."

"Gary had freshly baked scones for us on arrival!! Very friendly, booked dinner for us, went above and beyond. Brekky was delicious. Room was great. Very highly recommended!"

"The picturesque views of the Huon River and the surrounding hills and valleys are the face of this property. It features stand-alone and self-contained cottages that are spacious, clean and modern in design. We stayed for two nights in the soa cottage named Debbie Owen’s. Our experience ticked all the top-rating boxes. On top of it all, it is remarkable to highlight and note in our honest review that the warm bodies behind the “wonderful-ness” of this property are the hosts Ling and Tom who are...

"Very spacious room which was beautifully presented and had everything we needed "

"All good"

"We had a lovely, peaceful stay. My husband and I along with our son, his wife and two year old daughter had a wonderful five days in Lucindale. Our grand daughter loved the paddymelons, that were always grazing on the lawns. Surprisingly we were patient enough to see two of the resident platypus in one of the prettiest ponds I have seen. The bedrooms and living areas were very comfortable and the kitchen had all appliances needed to cook a family meal, although there are plenty of restaurants...

"Very quiet and serene. Looks and feels like newly renovated. Very clean and pleasant. Close to a scenic drive to the southern tip of the island. Though it is about 20 minutes drive from the nearest restaurant. But you can always cook. Very nice experience especially for city folks."

"Remote location. Nearest village is cygnet which is about 13min drive away. Larger town Huonville is 30 min drive. We choose this location to chase the aurora and it did not disappoint. Absolutely wonderful cabin. Equipped with everything you need. Extremely comfortable, quiet and picturesque."

"Thanks for the lovely stay, the house and location are beautiful, probably one of the most peaceful and quiet places we have stayed. The house is by far the most well organized and equipped we have stayed in, it had all the essentials in case we arrived late and couldn't stop for supplies. We especially appreciated all the tea and coffee :) Thanks Paul, Kate & kids."

"We arrived on a cold, wet afternoon and were delighted to find the fire alight and lights on. The welcome supplies in the fridge and fresh fruit were very much appreciated. Beds were very comfortable and warm. Beautiful decor and art works. The information provided on the artists and history was appreciated as well."

"This property was amazing! The wood fireplace and the location on the property was just spectacular! Heidi and her husband was fantastic. We rang to say we would be there in the dark and they had the fireplace going for us so the place was nice and warm for our arrival. They even had breakfast provisions for us in the fridge and a freshly made loaf of their own bread! Could not fault our stay!"
