"Perfect place to relax in historic settings with great views. The staff is top notch and the included breakfast had lots of fresh made options besides the standard buffet fare. Take time to explore the grounds for great views and the next door Taj property. The spa was luxuriously relaxing with a sauna and steam room. Convenient shuttles and buggies are available but I enjoyed wandering on foot and getting my steps in. The fort and beach below are prominently visible from around the property...

"The location and views are undoubtedly the hotel’s strongest points — the scenery is magnificent and the setting is beautiful. Unfortunately, the hotel itself did not live up to what we expected for the price. We paid around £280 per night for 3 nights, which was over ₹100,000, and for that price the rooms and general finish felt very dated and poorly maintained. The furniture was old, the flooring was damaged in places, and some of the switches and fittings were visibly coming...
