People speak in a slow, calming voice, and every day is filled with smiles from everyone. The swimming and spa facilities are perfect, with a great view. The hotel’s restaurant is exceptionally good. Because I stayed for many days, I was able to try a wide variety of dishes from the menu—nothing ever disappointed, and all the chef’s specials were outstanding. The staff are very friendly and respectful; they made my stay easy and comfortable. As a solo traveller, I felt completely safe here :) I’d say this is an absolutely perfect stay for anyone who wants to relax, be close to nature, and enjoy good food :)"

"Overall, this is an extremely aesthetically pleasing property. On the newer side, so everything is well maintained and the rooms are immaculate. The only downside for me personally- as a solo female traveler- is this is also a very kid-friendly property. Meaning there will be kids running around, kids in the pool, kids also running around the gym while you’re trying to work out. The gym also has one treadmill - and limited equipment so often times I had to wait or come back at a later time. I also found a couple roaches in my room - this doesn’t bother me too much being the humid climate and being on the ground floor next to the pool. Just for others to keep in mind when booking. Otherwise, it’s a great property and walking distance to evening you need for a nice stay."

"We upgraded to the nicer room and would highly recommend anyone to do the same thing. The room was amazing with wonderful views. It rained before we showed up so the windows were a bit dirty but understand they can't clean them everyday. Staff was very helpful and the fresh squeezed juice (Strawberry) was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful especially as we had it delivered to our room. We did the hibachi dinner and the chef was amazing the food was wonderful. The infinity pool was a bit cold but understandable and the view there at sunset was amazing."

"My wife and I spent three relaxing days at Umadewi Surf, the staff could not do enough for you. We firstly booked a garden view but upgraded to an ocean view on the second and third night. The upgrade went without any problems and they were very accommodating to our needs. The ocean view suite was very spacious and the bathroom was very modern."

"The restaturant food is good! Views are amazing! Clean rooms. They have buggy to bring you around sumberkima hill and also to their local supermarkets. People are friendly. No problem communicating. I will highly recommend"
